An improved ultrasonic computerized tomography (UCT) technique for damage localization based on compressive sampling (CS) theory

چکیده

The traditional ultrasonic computerized tomography (UCT) method needs numerous measurements to detect the inside conditions of concrete. Considering damage is sparsely distributed in reinforced concrete, compressive sampling (CS) applied advance UCT at both measurement stage and imaging localize part structure. proposed detection algorithm requires much fewer compared with same accuracy. In stage, pitch–catch paths are randomly selected capture travel time wave from one side other dense net. When waves propagate structure, they will interact damaged part, prolong propagation length, delay flight (ToF). whole specimen divided into small pixels based on desired conventional Rando equation advanced ℓ1-minimization CS solve slowness each pixel reconstruct part. functionality validated via numerical model experimental testing a concrete beam laboratory. results reveal more efficient for localizing measurements, which has immense potential development structural health monitoring (SHM).
